“Deeper” holds a special place in my heart as one of my cherished songs. Instead of relying on the original stems, I decided to take a different approach for this remix. A few years back, my talented friend Victor Rosado created an impressive remix that left a lasting impression.
Embarking on a creative journey from scratch, I meticulously constructed a brand new mix. Collaborating with my keyboard player, Marco Banderas, proved to be a fantastic experience. Marco’s soulful Hammond organ riffs and dynamic, funky bass added a unique touch, ensuring that the remix retained the soulful essence of the original.
Crafting this mix was indeed a labor of love, and I am immensely proud to unveil my version of “Deeper” on Imani Records. This opportunity has allowed me to infuse my creative energy into the song, and I am excited to share this rendition with the world.
