Like most children of the 1970s, I was a fan of Soul Train. If you were a fan of Soul Train, you were also a fan of the theme song, “TSOP.”

TSOP was the theme song from 1973-1975. Composed by my musical heroes, Leon Huff and Kenny Gamble, “TSOP” hit number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in the spring of 1974.

TSOP was also championed by many Disco DJs. It was always in my music box. I didn’t play it every week, but It was still on hand in case the evening moved in that direction. Feel free to download my remix.
